August 5 • 6:45 PM

First Wednesday Prayer is all about Community: connecting with God and connecting with God’s people. On the first Wednesday of each month, we pause all other ministries and gather as a church family to seek God, pray for one another, and walk alongside each other through the joys and challenges of life. It’s an intentional time to slow down and pursue the Lord together. Childcare is available for children from infants through preschool.

August 8 • 8:30–11:30 AM

Join us for Door-to-Door Evangelism on August 8. We’ll pray with our neighbors, share the hope we have in Jesus, and trust God to move through our obedience as we reach those who are near to us but far from God. Let’s step out together in our high calling with love and compassion. Meet at 8:30 AM in The Loft; come early for breakfast!

August 9 • 4–6 PM

You’ve signed up to serve…now what? Join us Sunday, August 9, from 4–6 PM for our churchwide Step In Training. We’ll gather in the Worship Center for a short message from Pastor Coleman before breaking into groups for role-specific training with our ministry leaders. Childcare is available for kids from infants through 5th grade. Come and get equipped for your area of service before we kick off our new service year on August 16.

August 21 • 6 PM

There's something about sharing a meal that brings people together. Join us for an evening of great food, genuine connection, and conversations that encourage us to follow Jesus faithfully. Guys middle school and older are invited; cost is $20 per person.

September 20 • Noon

Discovery Class is your invitation to connect with God’s people and discover what committed belonging looks like at Houston Northeast. You’ll hear our story, learn what we believe, and find your place in all God is doing through our church family. Lunch & childcare are provided.
